Job summary

Tung Wah Group of Hospitals is seeking a diligent Communications Assistant to provide general support to the Corporate Communications team. You will assist with copywriting, video production, branding, events, and social media activities to promote the organisation's missions in both English and Chinese.

The role offers a 2-year contract with benefits including MPF, annual leave, medical and dental schemes, and training sponsorships. Based in Hong Kong, the team works a typical 5-day week.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English and Chinese preferably with strong written skills.
• Experience in event management, media relations or social media platform management preferred.
• Good knowledge of word-processing and office software applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide general support and corporate communications assistance for the Assistant Corporate Communications Manager.
• Handle copywriting and production of corporate publications, videos and multimedia materials; assist with branding and events.
• Coordinate social media promotion, compile media clippings, and manage vendor coordination and meeting arrangements.

Job description

Provide general support and corporate communications support for Assistant Corporate Communications Manager;

handle copy writing and production of corporate publications, production of video/multi-media materials, branding/celebratory/promotional events, social media promotion, compilation of media clippings, intelligence and statistics, vendor coordination, meetingcoordination, and filing;

provide support to handle public enquiries and complaints, management ofcomplaint records and central register system;

liaise with media and maximise positive media coverage;

maintain a well organised filing system for the team and the Division; and

administer office-related matters.

The ideal candidate should have/be:

(a) a recognized Associate Degree/Higher Diploma; or
(b) matriculation (passes in two Advanced Level subjects in HKALE and credits in three other HKCEE subjects) orequivalent;

preferably experience in event management, media relations or web/social media platform management;

preferably experience in social media, video production and good command in Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator or other design tools;

good knowledge in word-processing and other office software applications; and

proficiency in English and Chinese.

The successful candidate will initially be offered a 2-year contract with a remuneration package which willbecommensurate with his/her background and experience. The continuation of employment and employment terms thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement. Apart from contributions to the MPF Scheme, other benefits include paid annual leave, medical services, a dental scheme and training sponsorships. The incumbent will normally work under a 5-day week schedule subject to operational needs and exigencies of the service.
