Cargolux in Hong Kong is seeking a Travel Services Officer to arrange and confirm travel for internal travelers and external guests, including flights, hotels, and ground transportation.

You will provide cost-efficient travel offers, manage queries, and ensure smooth reservations for crew and meetings. Strong English, teamwork, and initiative are essential, with proficiency in Amadeus GDS a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Travel industry experience (agency, TMC, airline or hospitality).
• Excellent communication across diverse groups.
• Able to work both in a team and independently.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Amadeus GDS experience is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Arrange and confirm travel bookings for internal travelers and external guests.
• Provide travel offers and assist with cost-efficient arrangements.
• Manage queries and amend travel change requests.
• Communicate by phone and email with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Make daily crew member flight, hotel, and ground transport reservations.
• Handle ad-hoc issues related to reservations and crew complaints.
• Audit hotel and ground transportation invoices.
• Complete monthly travel card statements reconciliation.
• Process various travel expense claims.
• Cover ad-hoc requests during other Travel Office closing times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Task Responsibilities:

• - Arrange and confirm travel bookings for internal travelers and external guests including flight, hotel, ground transportation, train


• - Provide travel offers and assist with travel arrangements to ensure cost efficiency


• - Manage queries and amend travel change requests


• - Communicate by phone and email with internal stakeholders and external suppliers


• - Perform daily crew member flight, ground transportation and hotel reservations


• - Handle ad-hoc issues related to reservations and crew complaints


• - Audit hotel and ground transportation invoices


• - Complete monthly credit card statements reconciliation


• - Manage all types of monthly, business, operational and travel expense claims processed through Travel Services


• - Cover all worldwide ad-hoc requests during other Travel Offices closing times


• - Other duties as assigned by Management

Essential Requirements for the Position:

• - Work experience in a Travel Agency, Travel Management Company, Airline or Hospitality Industry


• - Relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people and cultures


• - Anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders


• - Feeling comfortable to work in a team as well as autonomously


• - Have very good communication skills


• - Demonstrated ability to work independently and to take initiatives


• - Be able to identify problems and propose solutions


• - Fluency in written and spoken English, other languages are a distinct advantage


• - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)


• - Amadeus GDS experience will be considered as a definite advantage

Working Conditions:

• - It is a full-time position based in Hong Kong.


• - Vacation and other absences should be planned in a way so as to avoid conflicting with service and business requirements.


• - Work on a shift basis, including weekends. Flexibility may be needed with working hours.
