Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited seeks a Contract Systems Analyst to support the CSSS-II for the Social Welfare Department. The role focuses on ongoing maintenance and enhancements of a mission-critical system, with responsibilities across diagnosis, design, testing, and documentation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Project Nature (T26) On-going support of the Computerised Social Security System II (CSSS-II) for the Social Welfare Department.

Duties

Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the SWD;

These officer will be responsible for providing the on-going support to the maintenance and enhancements of the CSSS-II which is a mission critical system. The duties include:

• To perform problem diagnosis and program fixing for various social security schemes including Traffic Accident Victims Assistance (TAVA) Fund and Criminal and Law Enforcement Injuries Compensation (CLEIC) Scheme;
• To perform physical design and specify program components for the system enhancements;
• To prepare and conduct program testing and system testing;
• To provide support to user acceptance testing;
• To produce project documents;
• To devise operating procedures;
• To supervise Analyst Programmers to perform program development and system testing; and
• To perform on call support duties.

Requirements

(1) The candidate must have:

• experience in system development and implementation, preferably IT project of large-scale system implementation;
• hands‑on experience in J2EE, Java Application Framework and JavaScript programming language;
• experience in application systems using Web Services;
• experience in Structured Query Language;

(2) Work experience with/in the government is required;

Technical Skills:

• At least 4 years' experience in J2EE Development (JDE);
• At least 3 years' experience in Structured Query Language (SQL);
• At least 3 years' experience in Java Application Framework (e.g. Struts (Apache)) (JAF);
• At least 3 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP);
• At least 2 years' experience in Web Services (WSV).

Non-technical Skill:

• At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV).

• Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
• At least 5 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 2 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
