InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Contract Systems Analyst to support a government project migrating the System from one hybrid cloud to another. You will set up network infrastructure including routers, firewalls, VPN, and related devices, while maintaining 7x24 services and diagnosing issues to ensure uninterrupted operation.

The role requires Metro-Ethernet, MSI, NSM, and CISCO/Huawei hardware experience, with Putonghua and strong English writing skills.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or IT
• At least 4 years post-qualification experience; at least 1 year in a similar post
• Good knowledge of metro-Ethernet networking, routing, switching, firewall and VPN configurations
• English writing skills and Putonghua communication abilities
• Strong coordination and communication skills; government work experience is a plus

Project Nature (T26) The project will migrate a digital identity system (the System) hosting on a hybrid cloud to another hybrid cloud environment. The main duty involves migrating and setting up the network infrastructure of the System in the new hybrid cloud including setup of routers, firewalls, VPN solution, etc. The duty also requires supporting the existing network infrastructure of the System and perform diagnosis and resolve any problems encountered in order to provide the 7x24 uninterrupted services for the System. The System also consists of a mobile app and the support tasks also include diagnosis and enhancing the network components for the mobile app. The candidate is required to possess related knowledge to perform the support, migration and enhancements.

Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DPO;

1. Perform issue/incident handling and troubleshooting in particular for network components of the System;
2. Assist supervisor to prepare technical specifications for network services procurement;
3. Prepare documentation such as system manual, network diagram, etc. for the enhancement of the System and migration to the new hybrid cloud; and
4. Any other duties assigned by the supervisors.

Requirements

1. 1. Good knowledge and experience of deploying metro-Ethernet networks, and configuring switches, routers, firewalls and VPN solutions;
2. 2. Understanding of load balancers, internet gateways, application proxy servers, domain name services;
3. 3. Experience in preparing technical specifications for procurement of related network infrastructure products and ME-line services;
4. 4. Good command of English and writing skills;
5. 5. Good coordination and communication skills; and
6. 6. Communicate using Putonghua would be required.

Criminal record verification by the Hong Kong Police Force is required.

Technical Skills

1. At least 2 years' experience in Metro-Ethernet Network (MNE);
2. At least 2 years' experience in Multi-tier System Integration (MSI);
3. At least 2 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM);
4. At least 2 years' experience in Router Configuration (ROU);
5. At least 2 years' experience in TCP/IP (TCP);
6. At least 2 years' experience in Huawei VRP & Huawei Products (HAU);
7. 2 years' experience in CISCO IOS Software & CISCO Products (CIP) is an advantage;
8. 1 year's experience in IT Security (ITS) is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills

1. Good coordination skills is a must;
2. Good written English is an advantage;
3. 1 year's experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage.

Education and Experience

• - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
• - At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
