Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited seeks a Contract Systems Analyst to support rollout of a Speech-to-text system and IT security solutions. You will administer Windows servers and AD, manage data centres, and assist with system installation, testing, and migration across agency sites. A government-facing background is highly valued.

The contract runs from 01 Nov 2026 to 31 Jan 2027 (3 months). Strong English skills and vendor coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years' experience in Windows Server administration (backup, patch, and user account management).
• At least 4 years' experience in supporting Microsoft Active Directory.
• At least 4 years' experience in anti-malware and EDR solutions.
• Experience in supporting Government applications.
• Experience in Data Centre/Server Room/Computer Rooms implementation, site preparation and relocation.

Responsibilities

• Technical support and administration on mobile devices, Windows, Office, anti-malware and ERD.
• Handle network, servers and PC problems; provide solutions and coordinate with vendors.
• System administration and support for IT infrastructure and virtualization environments.
• Conduct application and system testing and user acceptance.
• Prepare rollout procedures for pilot and production runs of Speech-to-text System.
• Perform software installation, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting, health checks, backup and recovery.
• Relocate servers and client equipment as needed.
• Support helpdesk staff and end users.
• Perform other duties (e.g., on-call weekends/holidays) related to implementation and maintenance.

Project Nature (T26)

• (a) Implement the project for rollout of new Speech-to-text System;
• (b) IT security solution implementation and support;
• (c) Technical and feasibility study, system installation and acceptance testing of IT systems for new sites;
• (d) Provide support on mobile device management, anti-malware, EDR and application control; and
• (e) Implement software upgrade and security enhancement.

Duties

Duties - Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DOJ;

• (a) Technical support and administration on mobile devices, Microsoft Windows, Office Suite, anti-malware as well as ERD;
• (b) Handle problems for network, servers and PCs, provide solutions and follow up with vendors as appropriate;
• (c) Carry out system administration and support for IT infrastructure, Windows servers and virtualization environment;
• (d) Conduct application testing, system testing and user acceptance;
• (e) Prepare rollout procedures for pilot and production runs of Speech-to-text System;
• (f) Perform technical support and system maintenance tasks including software installation, configuration setting, tuning, troubleshooting, fire-fighting, problem handling, health check, backup and recovery;
• (g) Carry out server and client equipment relocation;
• (h) Provide support to the helpdesk support staff and end users; and
• (i) Perform any other duties (e.g. on-call duty during weekends and public holidays) as may be required from time to time relevant to the implementation and maintenance support of the above and any other systems of the department.

Requirements

• (a) At least 4 years' experience in system administration activities for Windows Servers, e.g. backup management, patch management and users account management;
• (b) At least 4 years' experience in supporting Microsoft Active Directory;
• (c) At least 4 years' experience in supporting anti-malware and EDR solutions;
• (d) Experience in supporting Government applications; and
• (e) Experience in Data Centre/Server Room/Computer Rooms implementation, site preparation and relocation.

Candidates with Microsoft certifications are a plus.

Technical Skills

• At least 4 years' experience in Microsoft Active Directory Administration (ADA);
• At least 4 years' experience in Anti-Virus Technology (AVT);
• At least 4 years' experience in Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS);
• At least 4 years' experience in Network & System Management (NSM);
• At least 4 years' experience in PC LAN Support (PLS);
• At least 4 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM);
• At least 4 years' experience in Windows Server 2008/2012 (W12);
• At least 4 years' experience in Wireless and Mobile (WLM);
• 3 years' experience in Video Conference Technology (VCT) is an advantage;
• 3 years' experience in Ethernet (ETH) is an advantage;
• 3 years' experience in Data/File Backup Technology (DFT) is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills

• At least 4 years' experience in customer service (CLS);
• Good coordination skills is a must;
• At least 4 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
• At least 4 years' experience in the management and support of Government systems and services (GSS);
• Good spoken English is an advantage;
• Good written English is an advantage;
• 3 years' experience in software testing (STM) is an advantage.

• - Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
• - At least 8 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 4 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.
