Job summary

China Railway Construction Group Co., Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Commercial/Contract Manager for multi-disciplinary MEP projects. You will provide commercial advice on tendering and claims, review issues, and implement preventive measures to minimize disputes.

You will assess consultants' or contractors' payment applications, handle contract disputes and variation orders, and ensure compliance with NEC contracts.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, Construction or related discipline.
• HKIS or RICS chartered membership required.
• 5 years’ post-qualification management experience in HK for multi-disciplinary MEP projects.
• Experience with NEC contracts highly preferable.
• Excellent understanding of construction contracts, tender processes and commercial management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Immediate availability or short notice preferred.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Quantity Surveying, Building Services, Construction or related discipline.

• Chartered membership in the HKIS or RICS is required.

• 5 years’ post-qualification management experience in HK’s contract administration for multi-disciplinary MEP projects.

• Experience in NEC contracts is highly preferable.

• Excellent understanding of construction contracts, tender processes, and commercial management.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong sense of responsibility with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).

• Immediate availability or short notice preferred.
