Job summary

MCC INTERNATIONAL HONG KONG LIMITED is urgently seeking a qualified candidate to oversee project tendering, pricing strategies and client relations in Hong Kong. The role requires leading contract negotiations, managing procurement, and controlling commercial risks with HK standard forms.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Construction/Quantity Surveying or related field and has at least 1 year of commercial and contract management experience in Hong Kong construction, with strong MS Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or commercial-law fields.
• RICS / HKIS or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
• 1 year commercial & contract management experience in HK construction with tendering/negotiation exposure.

A construction/engineering company is urgently required the qualified candidate to fill up the following vacancy:

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee project tendering, prepare commercial submissions, formulate pricing strategies, and develop relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
• Lead negotiation, review and execution of main, sub‑contracts and procurement agreements; manage contractual risks under Hong Kong standard forms of contract and maintain contract registers.
• Lead commercial negotiation on variations, site instructions and claims, and resolve contractual disputes to secure legitimate project benefits.
• Develop collection plans for interim payments, variation sums, final accounts and retention monies; manage project commercial profitability and financial risks.
• Liaise externally with clients, consultants and stakeholders; supervise commercial and QS teams and produce business and profitability reports.

Job Requirements

• Education & Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or above in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or commercial‑law related fields. RICS / HKIS or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
• Work Experience: 1 years commercial & contract management experience in Hong Kong construction. Proven track record in tendering, contract negotiation, claim management and dispute resolution; government project experience is preferred.
• Technical Competency: Well‑versed in Hong Kong standard building contracts and relevant construction ordinances. Capable of leading tender strategy, contract negotiation, claim submission and cash‑collection with effective commercial risk control.
• Language & IT: Bilingual proficiency for commercial correspondence and negotiation. Advanced MS Office skills for contract registers and profitability reporting.
• Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder communication and team‑management capability, result‑oriented, competent in handling multi‑party commercial conflicts and work under pressure.
