Job summary

InfoTech Services (Hong Kong) Limited is recruiting for a contract assignment to support HKPF. The role leads planning, design and implementation of 5G mobile communications network and mission critical services.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing 4G/5G mobile networks and mission critical ICT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Project Nature (T26) Implementation of the Terrestrial Wide Data and Radio Communications Infrastructure.

Duties:

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the HKPF;
• To lead and oversee the planning, design and implementation of the 5G mobile communications network involving core, radio access, transport, network management, environmental management, administrative and maintenance functions, etc;
• To lead and oversee the planning, design and implementation of the mission critical services and systems riding on the 5G mobile communications network together with user equipment and accessories deployment to end users and other stakeholders;
• To lead and oversee the planning, design and implementation of the system integration of 5G mobile communications network with other commercial or private mobile network in local;
• To lead and oversee the planning and liaison with other government departments and private sectors for the implementation of 5G mobile communications network through necessary document submissions and meetings;
• To conduct feasibility study and market research followed by procurement arrangement with stakeholders to meet the 5G mobile communications network implementation and end user requirements;
• To prepare and report project cost estimate periodically to the supervisor;
• To analyze reports of design, site survey, risk assessment, disaster recovery, installation, commissioning, testing, acceptance, training, mentorship, maintenance, etc. submitted by contractors followed by necessary clarification, evaluation and adjustment then for the approval process by the supervisor;
• To provide project management by supervising implementation progress and performance of contractors through meetings, document submissions, on-site checking, etc. with necessary escalation to the supervisor; and
• To be discharged for other relating duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Experience in implementing mobile communications network (e.g. 4G, 5G), broadband data network (e.g. microwave, optical fibre) and other Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) infrastructure for mission critical services with high resilience and scale;
• Experience in managing mobile communications network (e.g. 4G, 5G), broadband data network (e.g. microwave, optical fibre) and other Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) infrastructure for mission critical services with high resilience and scale;
• Experience in liaising with government departments and private sectors for the implementation of mobile communications network (e.g. 4G, 5G), broadband data network (e.g. microwave, optical fibre) and other Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) infrastructure for mission critical services with high resilience and scale;
• Knowledge of network components of mobile communications network (e.g. 4G, 5G), broadband data network (e.g. microwave, optical fibre) and other Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) infrastructure for mission critical services with high resilience and scale;
• Knowledge of mobile radio coverage network design (e.g. 4G, 5G), implementation design (e.g. 4G, 5G), operation of mobile communications network (e.g. 4G, 5G), broadband data network (e.g. microwave, optical fibre) and other Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) infrastructure for mission critical services with high resilience and scale;
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, structural, mechanic and building service to meet the network implementation requirements; and
• Knowledge of mobile radio coverage prediction and monitoring tools to meet the requirements of mobile network design and network fine tuning for optimization.

Security vetting is required.

Technical Skills:

• At least 10 years' experience in Broadband Network (BNE);
• At least 10 years' experience in Data Encryption Technology (DET);
• At least 10 years' experience in Data/File Backup Technology (DFT);
• At least 10 years' experience in Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP);
• At least 10 years' experience in Internet Firewall Technical Support (IFW);
• At least 10 years' experience in Infrastructure (INF);
• At least 10 years' experience in Metro Ethernet (MET);
• At least 10 years' experience in Metro-Ethernet Network (MNE);
• At least 10 years' experience in Multimedia (MUL);
• At least 10 years' experience in Mobile / Wireless Communication (MWC);
• At least 10 years' experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM);
• At least 10 years' experience in TCP/IP (TCP);
• At least 10 years' experience in Wireless and Mobile (WLM);
• At least 10 years' experience in Wireless Technology (WLT);
• At least 5 years' experience in Information Security Management (ISM);
• At least 3 years' experience in Multi-vendor Mission Critical System (MCS);
• Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
• At least 10 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 3 years' relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.

Non-technical Skills:

• At least 10 years' experience in customer service (CLS);
• At least 10 years' experience in contract administration (CON);

• Excellent written English is a must;
