Job summary

All Star Agency in Hong Kong is seeking a Contract KYC Analyst for Corporate Banking to support client onboarding and periodic reviews. You will conduct due diligence, assess ownership structures and risk, and ensure compliance with AML regulations.

Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Operations, Legal and Compliance to resolve issues and close cases on time, maintaining accurate KYC records and contributing to remediation programs.

Qualifications

• University degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance or related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in corporate banking KYC/AML.
• Strong knowledge of KYC requirements, client due diligence, and AML regulations.
• Experience reviewing corporate ownership structures and identifying ultimate beneficial owners.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and teamwork.
• Fluent English and Chinese; Japanese is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out initial and ongoing KYC due diligence on new and existing corporate clients, including enhanced due diligence where needed.
• Review and verify client identification documents, corporate structures, ownership details and ultimate beneficial owners to assess client risk.
• Analyse customer information, transactions and negative media to spot possible money laundering or terrorist financing risks, and escalation concerns as needed.
• Work with Relationship Managers, Operations, Legal, Compliance and other teams to resolve KYC/AML issues, collect outstanding information and close cases on time.
• Keep KYC records and supporting documents accurate, complete and up to date, in line with internal policies and audit requirements.
• Support periodic KYC reviews, remediation projects and the rollout of new KYC policies or systems, follow regulatory changes and take on ad hoc tasks as assigned.
