Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in HTML5, ReactJS, Express.js, Node.js, Spring Boot, Java Servlet, Apache, WildFly, MySQL/MariaDB and Windows/Linux systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist systems analysts on IT project activities.
• Develop CPD subsystem using React, Express.js, Java and MariaDB.
• Use IDEs like Visual Studio Code and AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to speed up development and maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned by senior officers.
• Work overtime as required to meet project schedules; hours typically 9:00–18:00 Mon; 9:00–17:45 Tue–Fri.

Duties

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve the DH;
• (a) To assist systems analysts to conduct various IT project activities;
• (b) To develop new Continuing Professions Development (CPD) subsystem using modern technologies such as React, Express.js, Java and MariaDB;
• (c) To utilise modern integrated development environments (IDEs) such as Visual Studio Code, and AI-assisted coding tools (for example, GitHub Copilot), to accelerate development, improve code quality, and streamline maintenance tasks;
• (d) To perform any other duties as assigned by senior officers;
• (e) To work overtime as required to meet project schedules and deadlines; and
• (f) Normal working hours: Mon, 9:00 - 18:00; Tue - Fri, 9:00 - 17:45

Requirements Proficient in application development and implementation using programming languages and development environments such as HTML5, ReactJS, Express.js, Node.js, Spring Boot, Java Servlet, Apache, WildFly, MySQL, MariaDB and Operations Systems such as Windows and Linux

Technical Skills:

• . At least 2 years' experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP);
• . At least 2 years' experience in Java Servlet Programming (JSP);

• . 6 months' experience in EGIS (EGI) is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills:
