Job summary

Arup invites an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team at Airport Island, Hong Kong. You will supervise sites and carry out TCP-T3 responsibilities in line with CoP T3 RSE/RGE stream requirements.

You should have 10 years of relevant experience, a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, and proven English and Chinese communication skills. We offer a structured contract and a collaborative, inclusive workplace.

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience; at least 5 years in site supervision of large scale multi-disciplinary projects.
  • TCP-T3 qualification under Building Ordinance.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.

Is this role right for you?
  • Qualifications & Experience Required:
  • Higher Certificate or Higher Diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering or relevant disciplines, or Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, of which at least 5 years involved in site supervision of large scale multi-disciplinary projects
  • Candidates should be qualified for TCP-T3 under Building Ordinance
  • Excellent presentation, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Possession of a valid driving license
What we offer you
  • The commencement and duration of the works will depend on the construction progress. The initial contract will be for 12 months, but this may be extended depending on the development of the project.
  • Standard working hours will be five days per week, plus an alternative half-day on Saturday.
  • An attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidates. Arup will give at least four (4) weeks’ notice to confirm when the candidate is required to commence work and when their service will be completed.
  • The candidate will be normally required to work the following days and hours:
    (a) Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 18:00; and
    (b) Alternate Saturdays, from 9:00 to 18:00
