Job summary

EEB - Gtech Joint Venture is seeking a Safety Supervisor to support the Safety Team in developing and enforcing the Company’s safety management system during construction. You will assist Safety Managers and Safety Officers, conduct on-site inspections with clients, and help ensure compliance with the MTR development agreement.

The role includes delivering toolbox talks, leading safety trainings, performing risk assessments, and preparing incident reports.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and enforcing safety policies and plans.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks.
• Competent in incident reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Safety Team in developing and enforcing the Company's safety management system, safety policy, safety plan, and procedures during the construction stage
• Assist any person employed as a Safety Manager and Safety Officer
• Conduct regular on-site safety inspections/observations/audits/walks with clients to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly
• Assist in conducting and promoting the safety requirements of the development agreement from MTR
• Conduct safety training or toolbox talks as required in the classroom or on site
• Enhance and promote safety awareness on site through safety training
• Conduct risk assessments and dynamic risk assessments for site activities
• Comply with the Duties of a Safety Supervisor under the Factories and Industrial Undertakings (Safety Officers and Safety Supervisors) Regulations
• Assist in preparing incident investigation reports and other documentation work to support the Safety Officer
