The successful applicant will have a Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, 8+ years of audit/control experience, Big 4 and multinational exposure, and fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin; travel may be required.

Our client is a global company seeking a Compliance Manager to join its Hong Kong team, overseeing internal control and compliance reviews across its international operations.

About the Role

• Plan and lead internal control and compliance reviews across global operations, including on-site assessments where required.
• Assess the design and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes, identifying gaps and recommending practical improvements.
• Present review findings to management and advise on remedial actions to strengthen controls and compliance.
• Provide internal consultancy support on operational risks, controls and process improvements.
• Lead cross-functional projects to implement best practices aligned with Group standards.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor degree holder in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of financial audit/ operational audit/ internal control/ risk & compliance experience gained from both Big 4 firm and sizeable corporations with international exposure in the commercial field.
• Regional/overseas work experience is an advantage.
• Proactive, with strong analytical, organisational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Occasional overseas travel might be required.
