Job summary

Chimbusco Pan Nation Shipping Company Limited is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support KYC, due diligence, and sanctions screening in our Hong Kong office. You will help implement and monitor compliance policies, conduct reviews, and maintain records across internal controls.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree and 1–3 years in compliance, with strong attention to detail, English and Chinese proficiency, and excellent MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in compliance, KYC/AML, risk management, internal controls, audit, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of compliance principles, sanctions screening, KYC/CDD requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English & Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin) is a must.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of the company's compliance policies, procedures, and internal control requirements.
• Assist in conducting compliance reviews, monitoring activities, and control testing to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal requirements.
• Perform Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and sanctions screening activities for customers, vendors, and business partners.
• Monitor sanctions lists and regulatory watchlists (e.g., OFAC, United Nations, EU, HM Treasury) and elevate potential matches per procedures.
• Monitor regulatory updates, sanctions developments, and industry news, and assess their impact on business operations.
• Prepare and maintain compliance records, registers, and documentation to support regulatory and internal audit requirements.

We are looking to hire a dedicated Compliance Analyst to join our team. The Compliance Analyst will support our team to prepare, conduct and maintain compliance reviews & records, perform KYC, CDD & sanctions screening activities, monitor regulatory updates, etc.

Key Responsibilities

Support the implementation and maintenance of the company's compliance policies, procedures, and internal control requirements.

Assist in conducting compliance reviews, monitoring activities, and control testing to ensure adherence to regulatory and internal requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

1-3 years of experience in compliance, KYC/AML, risk management, internal controls, audit, or a related field.

Basic understanding of compliance principles, sanctions screening, KYC/CDD requirements, and regulatory frameworks.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Proficient in written and spoken English & Chinese (both Cantonese & Mandarin) is a must.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
