Job summary

Investment Bank in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Compensation/Payroll Analyst to join our Finance division. You will process and maintain employee compensation and payroll information and support regulatory reporting.

The role requires 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and the ability to work with regional and global teams on payroll initiatives and process improvements. Mandarin language skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance, business or related discipline.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting, payroll, tax or compensation accounting experience.
• Good Excel skills; knowledge of payroll/benefits advantageous.
• Mandarin language skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and maintain employee compensation and payroll information.
• Prepare compensation accounting reports and support regulatory reporting.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and account balance reviews.
• Ensure payroll and compensation data is accurate and complies with internal controls.
• Liaise with payroll vendors and internal teams on payroll and accounting matters.
• Support new payroll, tax, and benefits initiatives across the region.
• Work closely with regional and global Compensation Accounting teams.
• Maintain process documentation and assist with ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Participate in regional and global projects.

• Good Excel skills.
• Mandarin language skills are preferred.
