Job summary

Charterhouse Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager - Commercial & Contracts to lead the contract management lifecycle for subcontractors and vendors, drive commercial terms, and ensure regulatory compliance across building management projects.

You will work with internal project teams to define needs, evaluate suppliers, manage tendering, contract negotiations, and performance assessments, while supporting cost control, budgeting, payments, variations, and final accounts in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Tertiary educated in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Engineering or related disciplines.
• Experience in supplier and tendering management within engineering and building material sector.
• Solid grasp of market dynamics.
• Forward-thinking, well-organized and excellent analytic abilities.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement innovative solutions and strategies for building management business.
• Own the full contract management lifecycle for subcontractor and vendor agreements, ensuring commercial terms and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with internal project divisions to define needs, evaluate suppliers, focusing on tendering, contract negotiation, and performance assessment to ensure projects are delivered effectively and on schedule.
• Support cost control, budgeting, payment valuations, variation assessments, and final account settlements.
