Job summary

Morgan McKinley is seeking an accomplished Cloud Architect to build a high-velocity, cloud-native enterprise platform in Hong Kong. You will lead design and deployment of AWS/Kubernetes solutions, drive IaC with Terraform and modern CI/CD pipelines, and set standards for microservices and API governance.

Ideal candidates bring strong experience in microservices, service meshes (Istio/Helm), and robust observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK), with fluent Cantonese and English communication.

Qualifications

Expert AWS core services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM).
Production Kubernetes experience.
Microservices, event-driven design experience.
Terraform/CloudFormation IaC & modern CI/CD pipelines.
Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
Security best practices with RBAC and IAM.
Excellent Cantonese and English communication.

Responsibilities

Architect Cloud-Native Systems: design and deploy AWS/Kubernetes solutions.
Drive Automation & DevOps with IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
Define Engineering Standards: microservices patterns, API architecture, cloud governance.
Pioneer Tech Innovation: evaluate open-source tools, service meshes, developer tech.
Mentor & Collaborate with agile squads, product managers, and ops teams.
