Job summary

Bayou Talent in Hong Kong seeks a Senior Solution Architect to design cloud architectures and governance, aligning business needs with cloud and DevOps strategies.

You will lead end-to-end CI/CD workflows, drive IaC automation with Terraform and Ansible, collaborate with security, and guide stakeholders through delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in solution architecture with banking/financial experience.
• Strong cloud architecture and DevOps design experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement architecture blueprint, standards, and governance of cloud solutions.

Job description

Design and implement architecture blueprint, standard and governance of cloud solutions.

Work closely with application teams to understand their technical and business requirements and translate them into actionable cloud, DevOps, and solution architecture designs.

Establish and optimize strong application onboarding processes, ensuring applications can be efficiently integrated, deployed, and operated on the cloud and Kubernetes platforms.

Partner with Security teams before production deployment to ensure security, compliance, and risk requirements are addressed throughout the application delivery lifecycle.

Design and implement end-to-end DevOps workflows from Continuous Integration (CI) through Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CD), including integration, testing, release, and production deployment.

Act as a technical SME for DevOps tools and workflows, driving best practices across CI/CD, integration, deployment, automation, and operational processes.

Drive infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including Terraform and Ansible, to improve deployment consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements, translate business solutions into technical solution architecture, identify and close business/technology gaps, and prepare project estimates and budgeting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Over 10 years’ experience in solution architect design, with strong background from banking and financial industry.

Solid experience in architect design and implementation in Cloud Architecture or DevOps Solutions or Cloud Services.

Expertise with at least of the below tech-stacks:

Architecture design, implementation and troubleshooting of Cloud infrastructure and Landing zone.

Advance troubleshooting skills and Application onboarding management on Cloud service such as Kubernetes (K8s).

DevOps methodologies and end-to-end CI/CD workflows, Familiar with GitHub Enterprise and Hands-on skill on IaC.

Strong stakeholder management with the ability to work across teams and drive requirements through to delivery.

Good communication and presentation skills.

Good command in Cantonese and English, Mandarin proficiency would be a plus.
