Job summary

MEGAZONE CLOUD is seeking an exceptional Cloud Solutions Architect to design and deliver cloud adoption strategies for Hong Kong customers, focusing on AI infrastructure and hybrid deployments. You will own technical engagement, respond to RFPs, architect implementations, and collaborate with offshore teams and partners.

You will lead in building scalable Kubernetes-based environments, optimize AI server deployments, and guide regional customers on cloud-native ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years of enterprise IT experiences related to pre-sales, technical consulting in B2B environments.
• 3–6+ years Hands-on experience in developing and operating scalable web applications or web services.
• Strong hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration, specifically designing and managing Kubernetes (K8s) clusters.

MEGAZONE CLOUD is looking for an exceptional Cloud Solutions Architect who provides technical design and solutions to Hong Kong customers in terms of cloud computing adoption, AI infrastructure, and hybrid deployments.. This is a unique opportunity to play a key technical member of the Hong Kong business team in an exciting, fast-growing business environment. The ideal candidate is a problem-solving-oriented technologist who has a genuine passion for utilizing emerging technologies—specifically cloud-native ecosystems, Kubernetes, and AI infrastructure —to solve complex enterprise problems.

In this role, you will be responsible for owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects; defining implementation architectures, responding to RFPs, cloud offerings, container orchestration (K8s), and AI server environments, collaborating with off-shore teams within MEGAZONE CLOUD and external partners and being a subject matter expert for regional customers. You’re also encouraged to proactively participate in pilot projects developing technical solution demos based on cutting-edge technologies with AI and headquartered teams. This role will report to the Technical Director of Hong Kong Business.

What you will do

• Responsible for presenting complex solutions and integrations in a clear and articulate manner
• Closely work with in-region sales colleagues to develop business opportunities and achieve jointly agreed business objectives
• Design and propose solutions that address the client’s need demonstrating how cloud services benefit the customer’s business
• Architect, set up, and optimize AI servers and GPU clusters to support high-performance computing and low-latency AI inference workloads.
• Design and manage scalable architectures for hybrid environments, ensuring seamless deployment of AI models and microservices.
• Work as a key role between sales and off-shore solutions delivery teams ensuring a smooth project execution and successful delivery
• Deliver technical enablement and updates to country sales team
• Serve as a technical liaison for the country as a key part of global shared service operation

Basic Qualifications

• 3~6+ years of enterprise IT experiences related to pre-sales, technical consulting in B2B environments
• 3~6+ years Hands-on experience in developing and operating scalable web applications or web services
• Strong hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration, specifically designing and managing Kubernetes (K8s) clusters.
• Proven capability in hardware sizing, configuration, and setup of cloud / on-premise servers (particularly GPU-accelerated environments for AI workloads).
• Ability to understand and present complex technical topics to both technical and business leaders
• Strong foundational knowledge in one or more of the following domains; micro-services, databases, networking, security and datacenter operation
• Expertise in implementing and managing DevOps CI/CD pipelines and MLOps workflows.
• Familiarity with AI inference optimization techniques and deploying models to production environments.
• Vibe coding experience or using AI agent to help architecture implementation
• Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
• Proficient technical communication in English, Mandarin & Cantonese
• BS degree in Computer Science or relevant experiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Intermediate/advanced knowledge of cloud computing concepts and services (AWS, GCP, Alibaba Cloud, or Azure)
• Experience architecting, designing and migrating workloads to the public cloud
• Deep understanding of enterprise networking concepts, including software-defined networking (SDN), hybrid cloud connectivity, and network security protocols
• Cloud certifications holder (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Google Professional Cloud Architect, or similar certifications for Azure/Alibaba Cloud)
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar container ecosystem certifications.
• Self-starter working in a fast-paced, changing but highly collaborative team environment
