Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, CS, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years IT experience, including 3 years in relevant FinOps/cost mgmt.
• Experience in IT budgeting, financial management and TCO comparisons.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships.
• Knowledge of Agile or Lean methodologies in IT projects.
• Understanding of cloud operations and pricing models (Azure/AWS).
• Strong costing, budgeting, billing and infra reporting experience.
• Analytical, problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for stakeholder groups.
• Familiarity with cloud workloads and licensing models.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and improvement of FinOps methodologies, frameworks and tools.
• Monitor cloud usage and spending; deliver regular reporting and insights.
• Identify cost fluctuations and re-forecast with cloud account owners.
• Assist with FinOps Quality Management focused on cost transparency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to promote accountability for cloud spend.
• Analyze pricing models and billing data to spot cost-saving opportunities.
• Use cost tools to detect over/under-provisioned resources and advise actions.
• Support cost-improvement plans based on KPIs and ROI considerations.
• Assist with cloud spending forecasts and budget planning with stakeholders.
• Keep up-to-date on cloud cost management and FinOps practices; share insights.
