Job summary

Lawyers On Demand (LOD) is seeking a Client Solutions Director in Hong Kong to drive revenue growth, manage senior client relationships and shape how legal services are delivered across Asia. The role focuses on talent, technology and transformation for in-house teams and law firms.

You’ll leverage your private practice or in-house background to win new clients, expand existing relationships and collaborate with Consilio partners for cross-border opportunities.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer (private practice and/or in-house) highly regarded.
• 8-12 years' experience within legal services, legal consulting, legal operations, professional services, recruitment, business development or related fields.
• Demonstrated success in client acquisition, stakeholder engagement and commercial growth.
• Experience in legal operations, legal transformation, alternative legal services or consulting strongly preferred.
• Strong familiarity with legal technology ecosystems including CLM, contract lifecycle management, matter management, eBilling, eDiscovery, AI legal tools and related legal operations platforms.
• Strong understanding of the challenges facing modern in-house legal departments, including budget pressures, resource constraints, outside counsel management, technology adoption and efficiency initiatives.
• Ability to establish credibility with General Counsel, Heads of Legal and Legal Operations leaders through practical industry experience and insight.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with General Counsel, Heads of Legal, Legal Operations leaders and senior stakeholders across Hong Kong and Asia.
• Owns the full business lifecycle from prospecting through to closing.
• Develops tailored legal resourcing, consulting and transformation solutions.
• Advises clients on legal operations, legal transformation and legal department optimisation initiatives.
• Engages with legal operations leaders regarding technology adoption, workflow improvement and service delivery models.
• Leverages knowledge of legal technology platforms to identify opportunities.
• Grows existing client relationships across LOD and Consilio services.
• Develops pitches, tenders and proposals.
• Partners with marketing on campaigns and events.
• Drives cross-border opportunities with global colleagues.
• Represents the LOD brand externally as a market expert on trends.
• Maintains CRM and pipeline reporting.
