Job summary

An Investment Bank in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Client Risk Analyst to join the first line risk team. The role focuses on reviewing account activity, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring to ensure compliance and effective risk controls.

You'll assess Total Net Worth and Liquid Net Worth throughout the client lifecycle, perform Vulnerable Client Assessments, and support reporting with data-driven insights. Fluency in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin is required.

Qualifications

• Review account activity, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring.
• Perform Vulnerable Client Assessments.
• Assess Total Net Worth and Liquid Net Worth through the client lifecycle.
• Conduct risk reviews and ensure documentation and compliance.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Compliance, and other teams on risk matters.
• Analyze risk trends to support reporting and decision-making.
• Assist with risk control procedures per regulations and policies.
• Prepare risk reports and follow up until resolution.
• Support training and share knowledge on risk controls and regulatory updates.
• Assist ad hoc projects and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Review account activity, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring.
• Independently perform and review Vulnerable Client Assessments.
• Assess clients' Total Net Worth and Liquid Net Worth throughout the client lifecycle.
• Conduct risk reviews and ensure accurate documentation and process compliance.
• Work closely with Front Office, Compliance, and other teams to resolve risk-related matters.
• Analyze risk trends and data to support reporting and decision-making.
• Assist with implementing and enhancing risk control procedures in line with regulations and company policies.
• Prepare risk reports, elevate issues when needed, and follow up until resolution.
• Support team training and share knowledge on risk controls and regulatory updates.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.
