Job summary

Projob21.com Ltd. is seeking a Senior Leader, Executive Director to manage Business Risk & First Line Controls in a private banking context in Hong Kong.

You will oversee AML/KYC, client onboarding, and front-office risk controls across the region, reporting to the North Asia Head of Business Risk. You will lead a team of six, set governance standards, and collaborate with front-office teams to ensure regulatory compliance with HKMA and SFC requirements in an international private bank

Qualifications

• Minimum 15+ years in financial crime prevention, AML, or front office risk oversight in international private banks.
• Strong leadership with ability to advise, consult and implement risk controls.
• Fluent in English and Chinese; Cantonese/Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6 in 1st line risk control for HKMA/SFC-regulated private wealth.
• Advise front-office on AML/KYC, SOW, product governance and regulatory matters.
• Design, refine and monitor risk frameworks for financial crime and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee audits/remediation and executive reporting of risk issues and gaps.
