Job summary

Michael Page International (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking an experienced Client Risk Analyst for our investment banking client in Hong Kong. You will be responsible for first-line risk controls across client onboarding, activity reviews, and ongoing monitoring within private wealth offerings.

You will liaise with Front Office and Compliance to resolve risk issues, review assets and liabilities, and contribute to risk reporting and control enhancements while keeping documentation up to date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Risk Management, or related discipline.
• Experience in reviewing and validating clients' assets, liabilities, Total Net Worth and Liquid Net Worth.
• Familiarity with private wealth products such as funds, structured products, and alternatives.
• Experience in a first-line risk/control role within private wealth management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Client Risk team in reviewing account activity, client onboarding, and ongoing monitoring.
• Independently perform and review Vulnerable Client Assessments.
• Assess clients' Total Net Worth and Liquid Net Worth throughout the client lifecycle.
• Conduct risk reviews and ensure accurate documentation and process compliance.
• Work closely with Front Office, Compliance, and other teams to resolve risk-related matters.
• Analyze risk trends and data to support reporting and decision-making.
• Assist with implementing and enhancing risk control procedures in line with regulations and company policies.
• Prepare risk reports, escalate issues when needed, and follow up until resolution.
• Support team training and share knowledge on risk controls and regulatory updates.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.
