Job summary

Cornerstone Global Partners in Hong Kong seeks an Analyst for the Client Onboarding, AML & KYC team. You will perform AML/KYC checks on various accounts and assess source of wealth. The role requires meticulous attention, timely reviews, and effective communication in English and Chinese.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of onboarding/KYC/AML experience, understand regulatory requirements, and can work under pressure. Putonghua fluency is an advantage for collaboration with clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above.
• 1–2 years of experience in client onboarding/KYC/AML checking.
• Familiar with regulatory requirements on account opening, CDD, KYC and AML.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Team-oriented with sharp analytical thinking and sound business judgment.
• Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct AML checking, KYC and CDD on Retail, Corporate and Institutional accounts for periodic reviews.
• Analyze and assess the legitimacy of clients' declared source of wealth.
• Ensure timely and accurate client checks, including screening of counterparties and tracking CDD deferrals.
• Conduct CDD of customer profiles for onboarding, periodic review and trigger event review.
• Identify and verify KYC documents and customer statistic data.
• Provide support to the team and carry out other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
