Job summary

Chubb is seeking a Compliance Manager to support and oversee the compliance framework for the life insurance business. The role ensures activities, products, sales practices, and internal controls meet laws, regulations, regulatory guidance and internal policies.

You will collaborate with business, legal, risk, operations, and distribution teams to promote a strong compliance culture and manage regulatory risk.

Qualifications

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls for the life insurance business.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on products, sales practices, operations, and disclosures.
• Provide compliance advice on product design, marketing materials, customer communications, and sales processes.
• Review policy brochures, scripts, training materials, and other customer-facing documents.
• Conduct compliance monitoring, thematic reviews, and issue tracking to identify gaps and recommend remediation.
• Support regulatory filings, reporting, and responses to regulator inquiries or examinations.
• Investigate compliance incidents, breaches, complaints, and potential misconduct, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Deliver compliance training and awareness programs to employees and intermediaries.
• Work with business stakeholders to embed compliance requirements into new initiatives, projects, and process changes.
• Maintain records, management information, and reporting on compliance activities, issues, and key risks.
• Support other relevant compliance obligations as required.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, regulators, and other stakeholders as needed.
