Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club’s Catering Department is seeking a seasoned restaurant operations leader to oversee the Chinese family dining concept at one of our prestigious Clubhouses in Hong Kong. You will ensure KPIs, service standards and health and safety compliance for a high-volume dining operation.

Qualifications

• Substantial relevant experience in related restaurants in prestigious hotels or clubs with a minimum of 5 years experience at a managerial level
• Good leadership skills with strong initiatives to interact with customers
• Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
• Hands‑on experience of MS Office applications

Responsibilities

• Lead the Chinese family dining restaurant operations to meet KPIs and maintain high standards of food, service and safety
• Provide leadership and direction to staff to deliver excellent service in line with membership pillars
• Collaborate with the Manager, Food & Beverage, Chief Cook and Head Sommelier on promotions, programming, and menu planning
• Maintain equipment, furniture and fixtures, and manage resources and assets within budget
• Supervise and coach staff to comply with SOPs and service standards
• Build a team of F&B professionals through development, counseling and coaching
• Prepare and manage operation reports, budgets, forecasts, and proposals
