Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking a Restaurant Manager within the Membership & Customer Excellence (MCE) division. You will lead restaurant operations at clubhouse or related venues, driving premium service, menu direction, and cost controls to meet business goals.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in luxury hospitality, strong leadership, and multilingual communication skills. The role offers competitive compensation and benefits within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a similar role at a luxury hotel, members’ club, or premium restaurant.
• Proven track record operating a sizeable premium western restaurant with high-quality service.
• Strong knowledge of cost control and menu engineering; wine knowledge is an advantage.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct restaurant staff to deliver service per SOP and club standards.
• Collaborate with Executive Chef on promotions, menu planning and cost control.
• Maintain equipment, furniture and assets; manage budgeting and requisitions.
• Develop staffing plans, recruitment, and succession planning.
• Prepare and manage department operation reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Direct FOH staffing, payroll, scheduling, and weekly rosters.
• Ensure allergen handling and food safety compliance; monitor quality delivery.
• Support continuous improvement and adherence to Club culture.
