Job summary

FXG Asset Management Ltd. is seeking an Equity Research Analyst to cover China Financials. You will build financial models, analyze banks and financials across A-share, HK and offshore listings, and present investment theses and catalysts to the CIO and investment team.

You will monitor earnings, regulatory developments and market data, update models, and collaborate with research, trading and risk teams while supporting fund operations and compliant disclosures.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of relevant experience in banking, equity or credit research.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; proficient in Excel-based financial modeling.
• Native / full professional proficiency in Mandarin and strong working proficiency in English.
• Overseas finance education (e.g. MSc in Finance) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform fundamental research on Chinese banks and financial institutions across A-share, HK, and offshore listings.
• Build and maintain financial models and conduct valuation analysis.
• Prepare concise research reports and investment memos with clear theses, catalysts and risks.
• Monitor earnings, macro data, regulatory changes and update models and views.
• Collaborate with research, investment, trading and risk teams; support portfolio managers and fund operations.
