Job summary

Paul Mak & Associates Ltd seeks a Head of Quantity Surveying to lead commercial control of property projects in Hong Kong. You will oversee contractual and cost management from feasibility through handover, ensuring value and cost certainty.

The role requires a degree in Quantity Surveying with HKIS or RICS, and extensive experience in property development contracts. Legal knowledge in construction law is a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in Quantity Surveying with HKIS or RICS qualification.
• Legal knowledge in construction law would be an advantage.
• 20 years of contract administration and cost control experience in property development.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial, contractual and cost control of property projects from feasibility to handover.
• Develop and implement effective contractual and cost control procedures with regular reporting.
• Review contract strategies with project teams to identify cost saving opportunities.
• Manage consultants, contractors and suppliers performance and relationships.
• Capture market cost data to support Commercial Management.
