Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology is seeking a senior engineer to develop and optimize precision cleaning, passivation, and electropolishing processes for Ultra High Purity gas-delivery components used in semiconductor manufacturing. You will lead qualification and continuous improvement efforts across manufacturing and R&D teams.

The role demands 10+ years in relevant chemical processes, strong electrochemistry knowledge, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry/engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years hands-on experience in precision cleaning, electropolishing, or related chemical processes.
• Experience in semiconductor/high-tech manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrochemistry, surface chemistry, contamination control, and corrosion.
• Experience with process validation and root cause analysis (DOE, SPC, FMEA).
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve chemical cleaning and electropolishing processes.
• Lead process qualification, validation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Investigate process deviations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Define process specifications, SOPs, and control plans.
• Support contamination control and cleanliness verification activities.
• Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, and external suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

Responsible for the development, optimization, qualification, and ongoing support of Precision Cleaning, Passivation, and Electropolishing processes for Ultra High Purity (UHP) gas delivery components used in the Semiconductor Industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and improve chemical cleaning and electropolishing processes.
• Lead process qualification, validation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Investigate process deviations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Define process specifications, SOPs, and control plans.
• Support contamination control and cleanliness verification activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field. Master’s Degree in Chemistry or a related field is an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience in Precision Cleaning, Electropolishing, Surface Finishing, or related chemical processes.
• Experience in semiconductor, UHP, medical device, aerospace, or other high‑tech manufacturing industries is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge and professional experience in electrochemistry, surface chemistry, contamination control, and corrosion mechanisms in prior jobs.
• Experience with process validation, DOE, SPC, FMEA, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Fluent English (written and verbal).

Preferred Background:
