Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is seeking a Chef de Partie to assist the Sous Chef and support a busy Western Kitchen team in Hong Kong. You will help ensure smooth daily operations and contribute to high standards of cuisine and service.

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, you will lead station duties, uphold sanitation, and assist with production, portioning and presentation. Strong English, independence and resilience are required in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment.

Qualifications

• 5 years relevant experience in similar capacity with Fine Dining/Italian cuisine experience.
• Self-motivated and responsible.
• Independent and able to work under pressure.
• Good command in spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in and around all culinary work areas and clean their stations after every service
• Follow procedure and ensure safe and proper use of equipment at all times and to instruct this to all culinary associates
• Adhere to all the standards of food handling, production, preparation, portioning and presentation
