Job summary

Canonical is a leading provider of open source software with a distributed, mostly remote workforce. The role focuses on reseller and distributor channels, driving growth through partner recruitment, onboarding, and joint go-to-market plans across a global territory.

You will identify partners, conduct customer discovery, and lead training and enablement to grow Canonical’s channel business with a startup-spirited, results-driven approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in software or technology sales from the specified market.
• Understanding of open source, Linux and Ubuntu.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute channel strategy for distributors and resellers in the territory.
• Identify and recruit new partners; engage and nurture relationships.
• Guide partners through onboarding and enablement programs.
• Develop go-to-market plans with partners and coordinate trainings.
• Drive channel pipeline through ongoing partner interactions and events.
• Represent Canonical at external events and build long-term relationships.
