Job summary

Michael Page International (HK) Ltd is seeking a high-calibre CFO for a listed pharmaceutical business based in China/Hong Kong. The role requires strategic financial leadership, cross-border governance, and deep experience with HK Listing rules.

You will oversee capital markets activities, drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance while partnering with the CEO and board. Travel between Hong Kong and China is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Qualified Accountant with HKICPA/CPAA/AICPA or equivalent.
• Big 4 background is a plus.

CFO - HK Listed Pharma Business - Based in China/ HK

• Developing and implementing financial strategies to align with business goals


• Overseeing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting


• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards


• Managing relationships with stakeholders, including investors and financial institutions


• Providing strategic insights and recommendations to the executive team


• Monitoring and managing risks to safeguard the organisation's financial stability


• Optimising financial processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness


• Leading and mentoring the accounting and finance team

Travel between Hong Kong and ChinaGrowing organisation, strong prospect

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline


• Qualified Accountant (i.e. HKICPA, CPAA, AICPA etc)


• At least 15-20 years of total working experience


• Candidates with a Big 4 background is a plus


• Must have industry knowledge in the pharmaceutical, life science or healthcare sectors


• Must have worked in HK Listed organisations and well versed with compliance and HK Listing rules


• Combination of strong experience in financial operations and capital market


• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities


• Languages in English and Mandarin. Cantonese is a plus


• Open to travel between Hong Kong and China
