Job summary

EDPS Systems Limited in Hong Kong invites a Business System Analyst to bridge business needs with IT delivery on a government project. The role focuses on analyzing requirements, mapping processes, and coordinating with users and technical teams to implement effective solutions that meet expectations.

You will conduct UAT, prepare test cases, train users and support adoption while managing timelines, deliverables and budgets to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Business Analysis, project coordination or application-related projects.
• Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder coordination and project delivery.
• Experience in application testing, test case preparation and UAT
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong logical thinking, analytical capability and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze and document business and user requirements through structured discussions with stakeholders.
• Act as a key liaison between business users, front-line teams, senior management and technical/application teams, translating business needs into actionable solutions.
• Coordinate with application teams and end users to follow up on outstanding issues and drive action items to closure.
• Perform application quality checks and testing to identify defects, issues and non-conformities.
• Develop test scenarios and test cases, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Conduct user training and provide support to facilitate effective adoption of applications.
• Coordinate stakeholder meetings and facilitate effective communication across business and technical teams.
• Manage project timelines, work plans, deliverables and budgets to ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Provide regular project status updates, respond to stakeholder enquiries and escalations.
