Job summary

Clearwater Analytics Hong Kong Limited seeks a Business Development Representative to engage APAC prospects in asset management and insurance. You will reach out via calls, emails and LinkedIn, qualify opportunities, and help grow the regional pipeline using Salesforce and other tools.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in business/finance, have 1+ years in BD or Inside Sales, and speak Mandarin or Cantonese for the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year in Business Development or Inside Sales.
• Mandarin or Cantonese language ability required for the territory.

Responsibilities

• Research and identify customer needs and personalize outreach.
• Source, prepare for and participate in meetings with prospective clients.

Job Summary

The Business Development Representative (BDR) engages with stakeholders and prospects across the APAC market to address their concerns about investment reporting accuracy and timeliness. Using advanced technology, the representative and their team will proactively reach out to potential customers within Asset Management and Insurance through phone calls, emails, and LinkedIn. They will gain expertise in sales techniques and utilize company tools like Salesforce, Claude Enterprise, Gong, LinkedIn Navigator, ZoomInfo, and High Spot to effectively find new prospects and contribute to Clearwater's growth.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and find compelling events to identify customer needs and personalize sales communications.
• Source, prepare for and participate in business meetings with prospective clients.
• Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives with the goal to increase net new pipeline.
• Create and maintain client information in our CRM database.
• Collaborate with and become an apprentice to closers in supporting deals as they move through the sales funnel.
• Build qualified pipeline across our APAC Asset Management or Insurance market verticals within Hong Kong primarily - a high growth market with a large addressable total market, which represents significant growth opportunity for Clearwater in 2027.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting and/or another related area preferred.

1+ years’ successful attainment in a Business Development or Inside Sales role.

Mandarin or Cantonese is needed as an additional language as this will be the aligned territory.
