Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited is seeking an analytical Business Analyst to lead digital transformation and optimization projects in our Hong Kong hub. You will translate complex operational challenges into technical blueprints, working alongside software engineering teams to deliver custom platforms and automated workflows.

You will collaborate with product leaders and system architects to modernize logistics workflows and support end-to-end SCM initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT business analysis or tech project delivery experience.
• Domain exposure to global trade management, cargo movement, shipping, or 3PL is advantageous.
• Proficient with Jira, Confluence and process visualization tools (Lucidchart, Visio, Figma or similar).
• Excellent spoken and written English; Cantonese or Mandarin helpful.
• Strong ability to break down complex problems and document technical requirements clearly.

Responsibilities

• Draft accurate functional specs, technical requirements documents, and user stories for custom platforms.
• Design detailed process workflow diagrams, BPMN specs, and wireframes to align business needs with engineering execution.
• Lead UAT cycles, analyze performance issues, and manage post-deployment support.
• Collaborate with platform leaders to evaluate, benchmark, and integrate supply chain technologies.
• Overhaul legacy workflows to support web and mobile software across digital transformation initiatives.

• Design detailed process workflow diagrams, BPMN specifications, and low-fidelity interface wireframes to align business needs with software engineering execution.

• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles, analyzing system performance issues and managing post-deployment support.

• Collaborate with platform leaders to evaluate, benchmark, and integrate emerging supply chain technologies and digital logistics tools.

• Overhaul legacy operational workflows to support custom web and mobile software implementations across key digital transformation initiatives.

skills & experience required.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT business analysis, software specification design, or tech-focused project delivery.

• Direct domain exposure to global trade management, cargo movement, shipping, or third-party logistics (3PL) processes is highly advantageous.

• Proficient with project execution software (Jira, Confluence) and process visualization tools (Lucidchart, Visio, Figma, or similar).

• Exceptional command of spoken and written English is required; conversational capability in Cantonese or Mandarin is beneficial.

• Strong core strengths in systematic logic breakdown, technical documentation clarity, and practical operational troubleshooting for workflow optimization.
