Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analysis Manager in this new position to support Global Distribution Operations and Supply Chain COE initiatives across DC operations, automation feasibility, hardware and software vendor selection, 3PL performance, RFID enablement, shipping operations, packaging optimization, and end-to-end process improvement. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in business requirements discovery, process mapping, data analysis, KPI design, cost modeling, user acceptance testing, and executive-ready storytelling.

You will work closely with distribution, transportation, trade, planning, finance, technology, procurement, vendors, and regional business stakeholders to convert operational problems into clear requirements, business cases, dashboards, implementation plans, and measurable outcomes. This role will help create the analytical foundation for feasibility studies, vendor decisions, DC rollout planning, and continuous improvement across the order-to-delivery flow from vendor handoff through DC operations and BTB/BTC customer delivery.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Business Requirements, Process Design and Operational Analysis (25%)

• Lead discovery sessions with DC operations, 3PLs, transportation, trade, planning, packaging, finance, and technology teams to document current-state and future-state requirements.
• Translate business needs into process flows, user stories, functional requirements, decision logs, assumptions, risks, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze operational gaps across shipping, receiving, inventory handoff, returns, value-added services, automation, RFID, and customer delivery processes.
• Build structured requirement packs that support feasibility studies, vendor evaluations, solution design, and phased DC rollout planning.
• Define measurable outcomes and OKR milestones for speed, quality, service, cost, inventory accuracy, and operational control improvements.

Data Analytics, KPI Design and Executive Reporting (20%)

• Develop operational dashboards, scorecards, and recurring reports using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL extracts, and other available data sources.
• Track DC and 3PL performance metrics including speed, delivery quality, accuracy, productivity, cost per unit, SLA adherence, and exception management.
• Convert large and fragmented datasets into executive-ready summaries, trend insights, root-cause findings, and prioritized action recommendations.
• Partner with business and technology teams to improve data definitions, master data quality, reporting cadence, and dashboard usability.
• Support weekly and monthly business reviews with clear narrative, variance analysis, and risk visibility.

20% Feasibility Study, Vendor Selection and Implementation Support

• Support feasibility studies for automation, RFID, warehouse systems, hardware, software, analytics solutions, and process improvement opportunities.
• Assist with RFI/RFP/RFQ preparation, vendor comparison matrices, demo evaluation criteria, scoring models, total cost of ownership analysis, and recommendation decks.
• Document business and technical dependencies across WMS, TMS, ERP, BI, EDI/API integrations, devices, scanners, labels, packaging, and operational workflows.
• Coordinate business inputs for solution design, testing, pilot execution, cutover readiness, and phased rollout plans across DC and 3PL environments.
• Maintain decision registers, issue logs, RAID logs, and milestone trackers for cross-functional project governance.

Financial Modeling, Cost-to-Serve and Business Case Support (15%)

• Build cost models and business cases covering labor, equipment, automation investment, amortization, storage, transportation, packaging, service levels, and volume growth assumptions.
• Analyze cost per unit across factory-to-port, port-to-DC, DC-to-BTB customer, and DC-to-BTC customer flows by SKU, region, channel, and service model.
• Support scenario planning, sensitivity analysis, and benefits tracking for productivity, cycle time, capacity, quality, and service improvements.
• Partner with finance and operations to validate assumptions, quantify savings, and tie project outcomes to measurable financial and operational value.

Stakeholder Management, Change Readiness and Continuous Improvement (20%)

• Facilitate cross-functional alignment between business stakeholders, vendors, IT, procurement, finance, and regional operations teams.
• Prepare clear meeting materials, business updates, requirements summaries, action registers, training aids, and executive presentations.
• Support UAT planning, test case development, defect triage, sign-off coordination, training, hyper care, and adoption tracking.
• Promote disciplined project execution through structured communication, weekly follow-ups, risk escalation, and ownership tracking.
• Identify repeatable improvement opportunities and help build standard templates, playbooks, and governance routines for future initiatives.

Required Experience

• 8-12+ years in business analysis, supply chain operations, distribution, logistics, consulting, analytics, or related functions.
• Experience supporting distribution center, warehouse, 3PL, transportation, fulfillment, or supply chain transformation initiatives.
• Experience translating business needs into clear requirements, process maps, user stories, testing plans, and implementation-ready documentation.
• Experience building dashboards, KPI reports, financial models, business cases, and executive-ready summaries from operational data.
• Experience supporting vendor selection, feasibility studies, solution evaluation, UAT, pilot execution, and rollout governance.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams across operations, IT, finance, procurement, and external service providers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with global or regional supply chain operations in footwear, apparel, retail, consumer goods, or e-commerce.
• Experience with warehouse automation, RFID, WMS/TMS enhancements, control towers, or network/process transformation projects.
• Familiarity with advanced Excel models, SQL queries, Power BI, Tableau, process mining, or workflow automation tools.
• Experience preparing vendor evaluation scorecards, business cases, total cost of ownership comparisons, and executive recommendation materials.
• Understanding of 3PL commercial models, service-level agreements, operational KPIs, and continuous improvement routines.
• Ability to work across APAC, US, and global stakeholder groups with strong cultural awareness and practical business judgment.
