Job summary

ST Engineering Urban Solutions in Hong Kong is seeking a Software Engineer (Build and Release Engineer) to lead release management and build automation across Windows and Unix environments.

You will coordinate release schedules, perform readiness reviews, develop build scripts, manage version control, and support CI/CD pipelines to ensure high-quality software deliveries.

The role requires strong collaboration, problem-solving, and adherence to standards such as ISO and CMMI.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of release management experience.
• Strong SDLC and release process knowledge.
• Experience in Windows and Unix environments.
• Proficient in build/CI-CD automation.
• Familiar with code repos and issue trackers.
• Awareness of ISO/CMMI standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate release schedules and ensure timely software releases.
• Conduct release readiness and milestone reviews.
• Build, bundle, and prepare release notes.
• Liaise with development and project teams for smooth releases.
• Support continuous development and deployment pipelines.
• Improve release and build processes with automation.
