Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to oversee resilient container platforms, drive CI/CD automation, and strengthen OpenShift security in a fast-paced financial services setting.

You will architect and optimize pipelines, implement GitOps, monitor with Prometheus/ELK, and collaborate with engineering teams across Windows/Linux, ensuring high availability and rapid deployments.

Qualifications

University Degree or Higher Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent discipline.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps.
Deep experience with RedHat OpenShift.
Strong ability to diagnose and address complex infra issues in OpenShift/Kubernetes.
Proven track record in automation, observability, and scalable platforms.
Familiarity with security standards and patch management.
Proficiency in Bash and Python scripting.

Responsibilities

Deliver end-to-end administration, troubleshooting, and architectural support for enterprise Kubernetes environments.
Architect, deploy, and optimize automated CI/CD pipelines with blue‑green, canary, and rolling deployments plus rapid rollbacks.
Oversee GitOps strategies to ensure automated updates across clusters.
Monitor systems and implement alerting with Prometheus and ELK stacks for operational visibility.
Strengthen security by managing container vulnerability assessments and image scanning.
Collaborate with engineering teams to standardize deployment workflows.
Lead production incident responses, RCA investigations, and post-mortems.
