Job summary

The Chinese University of Hong Kong invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellow / Research Associate position in the breast cancer research group in the Department of Anatomical and Cellular Pathology. The appointee will work with postgraduate students and research staff at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Shatin.

Appointments are on a one-year contract, renewable subject to mutual agreement. Applicants should submit a full CV, copies of certificates and reference letters via the CUHK career

Qualifications

• PhD required for Postdoctoral Fellow; Master's with 5 years post-qualification cancer research experience for Research Associate.
• Solid experience in cell biology, animal studies and molecular biology techniques.
• Good data management skills; knowledge of NGS and bioinformatics is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Work with postgraduate students and research staff to conduct breast cancer research at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Shatin.
• Assist in writing academic reports, manuscripts and research grant proposals.
• Manage and analyse research data and prepare results for publications.
