Canadian International School of Hong Kong (CDNIS) seeks a Lower School Chinese-speaking Educational Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year on a fixed-term basis. You will support active learning and classroom behaviour, partnering with a Chinese Homeroom teacher and assisting with daily activities.

The role requires a Chinese teaching qualification and preferred IB background, plus strong interpersonal/organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Chinese teaching qualification and IB background are highly regarded.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Must be a permanent resident or have a valid Hong Kong visa.
• Collaborate with a Chinese Homeroom teacher for daily classroom teaching.
• Competent IT skills to prepare teaching resources.
• Professional, personable, organized, and reliable under pressure.
• Student-focused and flexible.
• Punctual, dependable and proactive in responding to feedback.

Responsabilités

• Provide active learning & behaviour support in classrooms and assist students as needed.
• Anticipate teacher and departmental needs.
• Lead or cover classes when requested.
• Communicate with Homeroom teacher regarding learning or behavioural incidents/needs.
• Explore opportunities for professional growth beyond basic duties.
