Private Advertiser in Hong Kong seeks a Beauty Salon Manager to lead the outlet across sales, operations, manpower, customer service and service quality while guiding the team to meet sales and operational targets and ensuring customers receive a professional experience.
The role involves managing appointments, staff rosters, stock, SOPs, compliance, and promotions, with a focus on driving customer retention and service standards across all salon activities.
The Beauty Salon Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of the salon, including sales, operations, manpower, customer service and service quality. The role leads the outlet team to achieve sales and operational targets while ensuring customers receive a professional and positive experience. The Salon Manager is also responsible for staff performance, customer retention, compliance with company policies and the smooth day-to-day running of the outlet.
1. Sales & Business Performance
Achieve the salon's monthly and annual sales targets.
Develop and implement sales initiatives to improve outlet performance.
Monitor individual and team sales performance and provide coaching where required.
Drive treatment package and product sales through effective consultation, upselling and cross-selling.
Monitor sales conversion, customer retention and repeat business.
Conduct daily/weekly sales briefings and motivate the team towards achieving targets.
2. Salon Operations
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the salon and ensure smooth service delivery.
Manage appointment schedules, treatment-room utilisation and staff deployment.
Ensure adequate manpower coverage during operating hours.
Monitor stock levels, consumables, equipment and treatment supplies.
Ensure proper opening, closing, housekeeping and cash-handling procedures are followed.
Implement and enforce Company SOPs and operational requirements.
3. Team Leadership & Manpower Management
Lead, supervise and motivate Beauty Consultants, Therapists and other outlet employees.
Prepare staff rosters and manage manpower deployment according to business requirements.
Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming and workplace conduct.
Conduct regular coaching, training and performance reviews.
Identify performance gaps and implement appropriate improvement measures.
Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new employees.
Foster teamwork and maintain a positive and professional working environment.
4. Customer Service & Relationship Management
Ensure high standards of customer service and overall customer experience.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Monitor customer treatment progress and encourage regular follow-ups and appointments.
Handle customer feedback, complaints, requests for exchanges or refunds professionally and promptly.
Work with Management to resolve escalated customer matters where necessary.
Drive customer retention, referrals and long-term loyalty.
5. Treatment & Service Quality
Ensure treatments and services are performed according to approved protocols and SOPs.
Monitor therapists' treatment standards and service quality.
Ensure proper customer consultation and treatment documentation.
Ensure employees are adequately trained and knowledgeable about treatments, products and promotions.
Maintain appropriate hygiene, sanitation and workplace safety standards.
6. Marketing & Promotions
Implement Company marketing campaigns and promotional programmes at outlet level.
Brief employees on current promotions, packages and sales initiatives.
Provide Management with customer feedback and market intelligence to support promotional planning.
7. Administration & Reporting
Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly sales and operational reports.
Monitor stock usage and other operational costs.
Maintain accurate customer, sales, attendance and operational records.
Report equipment defects, maintenance requirements and operational issues promptly.
Assist Management with audits, stock takes and other administrative requirements.
8. Compliance & Professional Standards
Ensure employees comply with Company policies, SOPs and applicable regulatory requirements.
Maintain confidentiality of customer and Company information.
Ensure appropriate professional conduct, grooming and service standards are maintained.
Escalate significant operational, employee or customer issues to Management promptly.
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
