Job summary

PFCC Group is seeking a Banking Operations Officer to join its Payment & Securities Transfer Operations team in Hong Kong. The role focuses on transaction checking, processing and risk controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies.

The successful candidate will collaborate with Front Office and downstream teams, handle UAT and process improvements, and contribute to management reporting and ad-hoc analyses in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of relevant experience in banking operations, transaction processing, checking or authorization roles.
• Experience handling payment or securities transfer transactions is preferred.
• Good understanding of banking products, operations processes, risk and control frameworks.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience with UAT or process improvement is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken.
• Microsoft Office skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and process payment and securities transfer transactions, including verification, control checks and rejection of transactions requiring correction.
• Identify operational discrepancies, errors and policy breaches, providing practical guidance and solutions to Front Office teams.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and downstream operations on requirements, business initiatives, training and post-implementation reviews.
• Perform risk and control checks on transfer documentation to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in UAT, process reviews and improvement initiatives, including workflow enhancements, automation and risk reduction.
• Prepare management information, regulatory reports and ad-hoc reporting as required.
