Job summary

PFCC Group in Hong Kong is seeking a Banking Operations Associate open to fresh graduates. You will join the Banking Operations and Asset Servicing team to learn end-to-end processing of corporate actions across asset classes.

Responsibilities include processing corporate actions, validating event details, meeting market cut-offs, reconciling positions and cash, and maintaining processing records while escalating issues as needed. Strong numerical precision and English proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• Open to Fresh Graduates; internship or experience in banking is a plus.
• Strong numerical, analytical, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization; fluent English required.

Responsibilities

• Process mandatory and voluntary corporate actions across multiple asset classes accurately and efficiently.
• Validate event details and capture client instructions before relevant custodian, funding, and system cut-off times.
• Submit instructions within required market cut-offs and operational deadlines.
• Monitor and reconcile positions, cash movements, entitlements, and outstanding exception items.
• Maintain corporate action blotters, control sheets, and accurate processing records.
• Escalate exceptions, discrepancies, and operational risks promptly to senior team members.
• Respond to enquiries from clients, custodians, and internal stakeholders in a professional manner.
• Provide accurate event information to relevant internal teams for seamless client communication.
• Comply strictly with applicable procedures, controls, risk management, and information-security requirements.
• Support process improvements and ad hoc operational activities when required.

• Basic knowledge or interest in corporate actions, securities servicing, and financial products across multiple asset classes.
• Ability to handle high transaction volumes accurately within tight daily cut-off deadlines.
• Strong numerical, analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and good organizational ability.
• Good proficiency in spoken and written English.
