Job summary

WallStone Partners & Company Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager for Securities Settlement responsible for settling bond and equity trades across Hong Kong and Macau. The role requires coordinating with custodians on settlement, corporate actions, and new issue settlements, while ensuring accurate daily reporting from Murex.

The ideal candidate has about 3 years in Global Markets back-office operations, with solid SWIFT, Murex, and Excel skills, and will support repo and stock borrowing

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in Global Markets back-office of Securities operations

Responsibilities

• Settle bond and equity transactions for HK & Macau operations.
• Follow up instructions, coupons, redemptions, and corporate actions with custodians during settlement and corporate event issues.
• Organize new CD issuances settlements and documentation with paying agents.
• Support Repo transactions settlement and stock borrowing settlement.
• Generate daily reports from Murex for Start of Day and End of Day monitoring of Bond/Repo/Equity/CD trades.
• Follow up outstanding trades confirmations and unmatched/unsettled trades.

Banking - Assistant Manager - Securities Settlement (Max 30K, 1-yr Contract)

Support Global Markets’ bank position (HK & Macau) and Investment team’s client position (HK & Macau) for the settlement of bond/ equity transactions

Follow up instructions / coupon / redemption / corporation actions with custodians while encountering on settlement and corporate event issues.

Arrange new CD issuances settlement and documentations with paying agent are placed in orderly and perform related settlement during the life cycle.

Support Repo transactions settlement

Support Stock borrowing transaction

Timely generate daily reports by extracting data from Murex for officer to monitor Start of day and End of day for Bond / Repo / Equity / CD transactions, reports to ensure no omission of instructions and completeness of Trades validation.

Follow up outstanding trades confirmation and unmatched / unsettled trades transactions.

Requirements:

Preferably with 3 years’ experience in Global Markets back-office of Securities operations in banking industry

Good knowledge on SWIFT, Murex, EasyWay, CMU, Windows, Excel
