Job summary

WeLab Bank Limited is expanding its bancassurance sales for long-term insurance in Hong Kong. The role focuses on building a scalable sales model with insurer partners, driving frontline performance, and ensuring compliant growth across both digital and human-assisted channels.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record in bancassurance sales, holds IIQE papers 1–3, and brings at least 5 years of relevant experience with a strategic, data-driven approach to customer engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
• Holder of Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations (IIQE) Papers 1, 2, and 3, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of bancassurance or insurance distribution experience in HK.
• Strong track record in building and scaling bancassurance sales, especially for long-term insurance.

Responsibilities

• Scale up bancassurance sales channel for long-term insurance with insurer partners.
• Execute sales strategy for long-term insurance products across digital and assisted channels.
• Generate appointments and analyze customers' financial situations to propose suitable solutions.
• Integrate insurance solutions into the bank’s customer journey for cross-sell/upsell.
• Ensure governance and compliance with IA/HKMA; uphold TCF principles.
• Own sales performance with forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting to senior management.
