Job summary

WeLab is seeking an experienced leadership role to scale bancassurance sales for its digital bank in Hong Kong. The position focuses on designing high-impact sales models with insurer partners, driving frontline performance, and delivering compliant, sustainable growth across digital and assisted channels.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in bancassurance, long-term insurance products, and data-driven decision-making within banks or financial institutions in Hong Kong.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related discipline.
• Experience in bancassurance or insurance distribution within banks or insurers in Hong Kong.
• Strong commercial acumen with data-driven decision-making capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Scale up bancassurance sales channel for long-term insurance with insurer partners.
• Drive frontline performance and sustainable growth while ensuring compliance.
• Generate appointments and analyze clients’ financial needs to recommend solutions.
• Integrate insurance solutions into the bank’s customer journey and enable cross-sell.
