Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) is seeking a System Development Manager to lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and production support of our mission-critical web applications for the Listing Division.

You will own the full SDLC lifecycle, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with IT, business users and external vendors in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 8 years of solid IT experience, with a strong focus on supporting and maintaining mission-critical business applications.
• Experience in application operations and support within highly regulated and compliance-driven environments.
• Hands-on application development experience using Java, Javascript, .Net framework, Oracle database/SQL Servers.
• Good knowledge and experience with Redhat Enterprise Linux, Windows Server and web technologies.
• Strong understanding in microservice architecture, container-based application design and cloud technologies.
• Familiar with software development and DevOps tools, including Maven, GIT, Jenkins, dockers and Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Strong team player with a high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese HKEX

Responsabilités

• Production support and enhancement of mission critical web and cloud application systems.
• Manage and participate in activities of whole SDLC phases, from requirement analysis, design, documentation, system development, testing, deployment to support.
• Plan and perform regular system maintenance support tasks such as technology refreshment, system performance monitoring and review, vulnerability management, production incident resolution.
• Lead and coach junior team members.
• Liaise with other IT teams, business users and external vendors.
