Job summary

OCBC in Hong Kong seeks a seasoned Corporate Banking professional to originate and execute syndicated loans for Greater China. You will collaborate with relationship managers to source deals, assess liquidity, and manage documentation while ensuring compliance with internal policies.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in corporate banking focused on Greater China syndicated loans, with fluency in English and Mandarin, and a proactive, results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance or related field.
• 5+ years in corporate banking with a focus on Greater China syndicated loans.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Manager.

Responsibilities

• Originate and execute syndicated loans transactions for Greater China, including feasibility assessment, term sheet formulation, and managing timelines and documentation.
• Develop competitive pricing models that align with market expectations and optimize transaction outcomes.
• Work closely with relationship managers to identify and originate primary or secondary deals, enhancing the bank's syndicated loan portfolio.
• Maintain frequent dialogues with other market players for market intelligence.
• Assess market liquidity for precise underwriting decision.
• Ensure all activities adhere to internal policies, procedures, and business needs, while executing additional tasks as assigned by management.
